Congratulations to Cassie Turczyn on winning our 2025 Investor Advocacy Scholarship. Cassie is currently a 1L Student at Syracuse University College of Law. She completed my undergraduate degree at Florida Southern College, where she majored in Political Communication and Advertising & Public Relations. She took a gap year after her bachelor’s to work for the Walt Disney World Resort in Attractions Operations at the Magic Kingdom! She had the opportunity to work at Disney’s specialized holiday events and engage with Guests at parades, and participate in the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Going forward, she hopes to intertwine her passion for entertainment and the study of law through the pursuit of a joint master’s degree with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communication! In the future, she hopes to practice in the fields related to Intellectual Property, Licensing, and Copyright as an attorney.
“I was thrilled to receive the notification that I was awarded this scholarship! This past summer, I spent my free time writing scholarship essays to put the proceeds towards my legal education. Student loans are tough, so it’s great that students are being rewarded through these types of programs. This is the first scholarship I’ve received for law school, so I’m very excited and pleasantly surprised to find out that I’ve won!
